FAQs

We typically host 1–2 donation drop-off events before each partner school pop-up. These events are usually held at our donor schools. For the most up-to-date information on dates, times, and locations, please check this page and follow us on Instagram.

The Prep Together team carefully sorts and organizes all of the donations by category. These items are then displayed at our on-campus, themed pop-up events, where students and parents can “shop” for them—completely free of charge. If a student has requested a specific item (like size 6 Jordans), we notify them via email and make that item available for pickup at our “It’s a Match” table during the event.
-
Yes—we’re grateful for both! New items and gift cards can be purchased through our Amazon wish lists. Used items should be clean, in good condition, and only gently worn. Our team carefully inspects all donations during the sorting process to ensure they meet our quality standards.
-
Absolutely! Prep Together volunteers are the heart and soul of our work. We’re always looking for students to help at our pop-up events, sort donations, take photos, and support the behind-the-scenes logistics. Visit our volunteer page or reach out to us to get involved.
-
Yes—depending on your school’s policies. If your school doesn’t yet offer service hours for Prep Together, we’re happy to help. Please have them contact us at hello@preptogether.com so we can provide them with the information they need.
